June 24, 2010

Ever updated your Twitter or Facebook status on your iPhone 3G / 3G[S], or just texted a friend, and wondered if you could enter text emoticons (a.k.a. kaomojis) as simple as a few touches without having to remember them all?

Like these for example: ☆〜(ゝ。∂) , ♪( ´θ`)ノ , ☆彡 , ♪( ´▽`) , (^_−)−☆

Enabling the “Japanese – Romaji” or “Japanese – Ten Key” keyboard from the “Settings > General > Keyboard” option, will allow you to select from a few cute kaomojis available through the Japanese keyboard. Take a look the these samples and try them for yourself.. ☆彡

Another feature recently noticeable with more than one International keyboards on the iOS 4, you know have the ability to easily  select from the different keyboards through a pop-up selection interface, heres the candy:

(Update: some have recognized the kaomoji as a feature since the first release of International keyboards on the iPhone OS 3.0)
